David Boerner’s writing career was brought to life by the magic words of his cute, younger female English teacher, senior year at West Valley Alternative School ("Waste Valley"). "You're good, David Boerner. You should be a writer," she said. "But don't think I'm going to let you get away with the same crap as these other kids. I want to see you turning in better stuff."
David Boerner has been held to a higher standard ever since.
He started writing for the monthly entertainment rag in college, then moved on to a career of freelance editorial work, subsidized by barista wages.
Today, David writes compelling, organized, digital content for business including web copy, product and service descriptions, blogging for business, newsletter, and email marketing.
When he's not working, you can catch David wearing spandex in the hills outside of Portland — checking off every legal gravel road in the area and peeking over the gates of the rest.
